Here goes, it's rather amazing that when the capability is there, the ability to write flies out the window. Feel free to use this page to experiment with the Text Formatting Rules. Just click the "Edit Page" link at the bottom of the page. If this was a book page, I'd list the characters in kind of WikiWikiWeb style... and that would be?
This has been done: Books.HomePage and Char.HomePage
If you then click on the WikiWord, you can edit the character page and enter the other books in which they appear! Check out Books.ACircleOfCats and Char.AppleTreeMan for examples!
Did my first couple of edits.....seriously check out the compilation The Newford Stories plz lol and if u can find info on it add it for me thnx I wouldn't worry about creating more groups - it can easily get too complicated, I think. Now, I would quite like to have the editing author's name mentioned at the bottom of the page. But can I find out how to? Well, another deep dive in the CookBook, methinks! :-) This is so my first time on here hehehe I hope I can ge the hang of editing and if not I'm sure somebody else will fix it (i hope!)fire was her element stirred spirals in the soup of the dark night burning from her fingertips fueled by her soul bliss extending to light others fires who smoldered she made trails of smoke as beacons over the ocean and then she found relaxation in her sanctuary 21 July 05 - got gently told off in the nicest possible way for capitalising the "d" in "de Lint". I think I found them all, but if you find any instance of "Charles De Lint", don't hesitate to cut down the "De" to size! ;) PS: we'll still use a capital "De" in the camelback WikiWords, so "CharlesDeLint" is ok, "Charles De Lint" isn't and should be edited to "Charles de Lint". Eeeeee! I'm editing a wiki page!
@>-->--- (A Saskia Rose) Oh my goodness . . . there's roses in the wordwood?
Oh dear, I did an upgrade and all hell broke loose. Well, "broke", anyway. DumBo?
Aha, sorted now. Phew! ----~ Upgraded to a new version of pmwiki. Also set URLs? to "approval needed", maybe that keeps the spamming idiots a little at bay. If it doesn't, I'll change the whole site to be password protected for editing. Annoying, but it may be necessary. Captcha? Hmm? Ain't working yet. Bother! But setting an Edit Password might do the trick. :-) April 2009 - Got told of for the site being "not pretty enough". *boggle*
19 April 2009 - Upgraded to PmWiki 2.2.1

This looks like it might be working again :-) -- Librarius |
